ABSTRACT
The aim of this paper is to analyze the law regulations connected with creating safety
and security of mass events in Poland. The paper is divided into four parts, each
of them corresponds to one key subject which is active in the described area i.e. the
organizer (submitting the request for the event), the issuing authority (wójt, mayor,
city president), wojewoda (having the two, different bans) and the Police (analysed
especially with regard to giving opinions on the request for a mass event).
