ABSTRACT

Due to the steady technological progress, one of the most important needs of the modern world is to provide cyber-security to users of electronic media. What is more – it is necessary to protect children from cybercrime. In this respect, international cooperation and harmonization of cybercrime regulations in particular countries are extremely important. This article aims to show the legal measures to protect children from cybercrime at the universal level. The article also presents some of the activities of the United Nations in this regard. Furthermore, the study is an attempt to answer the question of the sufficiency and effectiveness of the UN legal measures.
