ABSTRACT
The legislator in the 1983 Code of Canon Law states: “The Christian faithful can legitimately vindicate and defend the rights which they possess in the Church in the competent ecclesiastical forum according to the norm of law”. This means that Christian faithful (clergy and the lay Christian faithful) can assert their rights provided for by universal and particular law in both judicial and administrative forum.
