ABSTRACT
The article treats the external security in terms of international security. National security (of the state) is divided into internal and external
security. External security covers all types of external threats such as political, economic, military, ecological and information threats. The author
examines the external security of the system of NATO and the European
Union, that guarantee national safety in Poland.
