The article is the result of a survey carried out in the framework of the research theme: TB3_2013 to statutory school ofRegional Economy. AlcideDe Gasperi in Józefów. The aim of the study was to know the opinion of the students. on the scale of the phenomenon of corruption in Poland, the causes of its occurrence, areas affected by corruption, ways to combat and prevent corruption and the impact of corruption on development and future. The issue of corruption represents a very serious threat to the proper functioning and the free State. The functioning of the State security and the development of its citizens, is a guarantee of safety and a sense of social justice. All of these elements are part of the need to ensure appropriate conditions for the functioning of the State by governing. This task is extremely difficult and requires a series of actions on many levels, the functioning of the State, its structures and bodies. The problem is the same phenomenon of corruption. Every day, corruption istreated as an unwanted phenomenon as something negative, something you should not do what it was not proper. By analyzing the same phenomenon in comparison. against organized crime, it turns out that corruption is not so large-negative impact on society as activities organized criminal groups engaged in the most severe offences against the life and health of the population. Corruption is the most intelligent crime, offences committed in silence and in secret from the public.
