ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the problem of theater education in kindergarten. It was noted that
the theater is an important factor determining human development and therefore it is crucial
for the theater initiation took place as early as possible, i.e. in early childhood. The article
brings closer the notes in the new core curriculum for kindergarten theater education and
discusses the best programs for kindergarten education analyzing the theater education in
these programs. The article also presents pedagogical activity of kindergarten in Jozefow
in the aspect of the realization of assumptions of the theater education.
