ABSTRACT
The aim of this paper is looking for appropriate expression of the question about some crucial challenge which contemporary pedagogy and education face and substantiation of this formula. In some meaning this question is about „pedagogy in keeping with the times”. The order of reasoning and this paper narration are based on the main assumption of the humanistic interpretation method. It assumes that direction of history is created by purposeful humans’ actions but they not necessarily are convergent with its historical effects in which are cumulated. The main conclusion is not very revealing but in the author opinion very important. Namely, if we think on education seriously we can’t avoid taking a stand in the matter of future consequences of a permanent crises which are tied with state of contemporary world.
