Quality management systems can be used by public administration bodies to improve internal security. The basic standards for such systems include the involvement of managers and employees in quality improvement, setting goals of the organization, planning activities and organizational structure to adapt to the requirements of internal and external quality, and also developing and applying quality indicators and evaluation. To achieve this goal, however, it is necessary to implement a documented quality management systems, which determines interaction of employees in all departments and at all levels of the institution in achieving quality, with the use of appropriate quality tools, which allows to identify potential obstacles to obtaining quality. Such a system must, however, each time take into account all the specificities of structures, in which it is implemented, and the type of performed tasks, and its inseparable component should be an the external and internal evaluation of the organization at all stages of its operation.
