ABSTRACT
Introduction: Drawing attention to using outdoor methods in education might be a good idea, since educational environments, especially teachers are looking for methods effective at upbringing and education. For this purpose a research was started with the goal of acquiring feedback from primary school students concerning the role of outdoor methods in the upbringing process. This goal seems interesting for multiple reasons and is also connected with the search for efficient methods in the upbringing of youth. Material and Methods: The paper is of a theorerical-empirical nature. The source material for the description of education and outdoor methods was sourced from a review of academic papers listed in databases such as Google Scholar and Web of Science. In the empirical part the results of a diagnostic survey are presented. The survey was carried out among 130 students aged 9-14 years old, attending selected primary schools in the Lubelskie voivodeship. The questions posed as survey questions were an original survey questionnaire. Results: Analysis of the collected empirical material allowed us to complete the goal and find examples of using outdoor methods for the upbringing of students. The questioned students listed benefits of participating in outdoor lessons and most appealing types of outdoor lessons. Conclusions: Analysis of the collected empirical material allowed us to complete the goal and find examples of using outdoor methods for the upbringing of students. The questioned students listed benefits of participating in outdoor lessons and most appealing types of outdoor lessons.
