This article is devoted to outlining the most important ethical issues in the police service. Particularattention was paid to the variousmanifestations of the corruption. Analysis of crime statistics indicate the scale of the problem and allows you to specify areas of police activity most vulnerable to acts of corruption. Discussion of the police code of ethics reveals a complex system of values and ethical norms that shape the ethos of professional police officer. It was also pointed chosen moral standards and their role in shaping the right attitudes towards various forms of corruption. A special role in shaping the attitudes of police officers have the right training and professional development. During basic training young police officer must be aware of the threat posed by corruption and must obtain the basic knowledge and skills to deal with corruption. During further training police officers are in regular contact with the contents referring to the phenomenon of corruption. During training, officers improve their skills to cope with these difficult situations.
